Disconnect the mains plug before carrying out cleaning work or replacing parts.

 

Wait one hour until the residual voltage on the electrodes has dissipated. Loosen the screw on the lid and lift the lid. Remove any dust on the two pins using a cotton swab or soft cloth. Caution: The pins are very sharp. When replacing the electrodes, carefully pull the old electrodes out of the recesses of the potted electronics using pliers and carefully push the new electrodes back in using the pliers
